Terror Man is a Korean YLAB webtoon and the 5th Super String webtoon. It is published by YLAB. The story was written by Dongwoo Han and illustrated by Jinho Ko.

Synopsis[]

Jungwoo Min has a special ability, one that lets him see whenever a path leads to an unfortunate future. Jungwoo uses his eyes of “Misfortune” to spot unfortunate events and tries to stop them, leading him to become a terrorist feared by the people. However, Jungwoo discovers that the more he saves others, the unhappier he becomes. Thus unfolds a story of a hero and his struggle between happiness and despair.

Release Schedule[]

On Naver Webtoon, episodes were released every Friday for both seasons. Season 1 began on January 15, 2016 and completed on December 22, 2017. Season 2 began on April 20, 2018 and completed on May 22, 2020. Season 3 was hinted to be released after Terror Vs. Revival but as of now, it seems to be scrapped or on a hiatus. Currently there is no official English release.

  • From December 15, 2016, it was serialized on the official Thai Webtoon.
  • From June 3, 2017, it was serialized on the official traditional Chinese Webtoon.
  • From March 15, 2020, it was serialized in Japanese on LINE Manga, an overseas service of Naver Webtoon and a Japanese published manga e-book service.
  • From June 5, 2021, it was serialized on the official Indonesian page of Webtoon. With each episode released on Friday every week.
  • From June 25, 2021, an official Simplified Chinese is released on Naver Webtoon's overseas service, "Dongman Manga."

Future Schedule

As previously stated, it was planned to be serialized after Terror Vs. Revival. However, Jinho Ko had left Ylabs and Dongwoo Han had revealed on Instagram Q&A on New Year's Day 2022 that there was no plan for Season 3. This led to major disappointment to fans. Due to the Q&A on New Year's Day in 2023 , a theory arose that the reason for the cancellation of Season 3 was because of Terror Vs. Revival.[10]

However, on the author's Instagram as he answers a Q&A on New Year's Day of 2024, he was asked again of season 3 which he replied that there is a chance but low and needs time to set things up.[11] Further revealed that production was finally approved. It is said that Dongwoo somehow managed to negotiate it well and asked for understanding from Jinho Ko and YLAB.

However, Dongwoo said that he had discontinued production on the project because it was difficult to serialize the two works due to his position as Elimona's general producer. Ultimately, the timing of the serialization has not been decided.[11]

In March 2024, Jinho participated as a producer for Elimona's new work, making his 'return' to YLab's work after three years. The green light has been given for the production of this work. It is significant that it is possible to participate in YLab works despite belonging to another company.[11]

In November 2024, Jinho revealed revealed that the serialization period was still undecided. The author himself wants to proceed but cannot without a clear serialization date.[11]

Background[]

There are a total of two seasons. Season One is Jungwoo's backstory and how he became the Terror Man/Terrorist. Season Two is mainly Lilia's background story as well as the final battle against White's Project Imagine weapons. Supposedly, a third season was to be developed but unfortunately the author had confirmed that season 3 has been canceled.[12]

As the team prepares for the attack of White using the emergency broadcast system, they discuss how there is still no news from any department including the Emergency Operations Center.[15]
    • Civil Defense (민방위) - A civilian non-military national defense division. According to Congressman Euiseok Jung, there are 3.6 million people within civil defense and he complains to the MOIS Minister that it would be irresponsible to call on them to take care of just one terrorist.[16]

Setting/Locations[]

Season 1
Events in Season 1 occur in modern day Korea. The exact date is uncertain.

Season 2
Season 2 goes back and forth between events in Russia (Lilia's backstory) and Korea (back to Jungwoo Min). There are also mentions of the lab and sinkhole in Saudi Arabia as well as Project Imagine lab in the US. During the flashbacks of Lilia's backstory, those occur around 10 years before the events of Terror Man Season 1.

  • Russia - most, if not all, of Lilia's backstory occurs in Russia, mainly on the Eastern side, with a few mentions of Moscow (i.e. the All-Hands Bratva Meeting).
  • Korea - When the story progresses with Jungwoo Min back at the present time, the setting is back in Korea.
  • USA - the location of the main Project Imagine lab. It is unclear where in the US or who is the main researcher, but all the tests on Lima were conducted here and Telekinesis Cyborg and Red Swan were created here as well.
  • Saudi Arabia - Saudi Arabia is the location of the meteorite crash that created a sinkhole. After Lima fell into the sinkhole and came back, she obtained all the Project Imagine abilities.

Timeline[]

The events of Terror Man are most likely after Westwood Vibrato, as Kuku is still in South Africa during Westwood Vibrato. This would coincide with the YLAB official timeline. Season 1 occurs before the events of Neolithic Girl as many of the events in Season 1 are alluded to in Neolithic Girl (i.e. Jinmyung Tower Incident). Season 2 (present time events, not Lilia's flashback of her past) is probably during the same time as Neolithic Girl or sometime after. Both seasons are before the events of Island Part 2 as at the end of the epilogue of Season 2, Lilia is convincing Suki Kang to go to Jeju Island. Thus, Season 1 is 5th, tied with Hanlim Gym (Webtoon) and Season 2 is 7th, tied with Neolithic Girl.

It is for this reason that White changed its plans to capture the President of Korea, Hyunok Choi, in order to obtain the manuscript. Furthermore, this certainly references Eruwon, the protag of canceled webtoon "Parako" whom was a member of the Bobingsa.
  • In Ep.91, Kangtawoo (Kangtawoo Webtoon) appears in a cameo frozen in ice in the North Pole as Hyunok Choi explains about the Voynich Manuscript to the Congressman.

  • The Disaster Preparatory Committee is officially formed under the order of President Hyunok.
  • Seokyoung Min was also in search of the Voynich Manuscript for which he agreed to be an advisor to the Disaster Preparatory Committee. The President promised the manuscript after three years of faithful service.
  • In Ep.109, Muse visit Russia to recruit Lilia when Lilia visit Ivan and Veronica to obtain the Holy Grail.

Plot Overview[]

Season 1[]

Forming the Terrorist Group[]

Jungwoo Min is a normal high school student who has the ability called "Eyes of Misfortune" which he uses for school life like rock-paper-scissors or cheating on a test. After school, he meets with his adoptive guardian, Lilia Podkopayeva back in his home and they soon depart to Daehan Department Store to buy groceries. While there, Jungwoo discovered that the whole store is about to collapse very soon with his ability. He urges to the store staff about this but they don't believe him causing him to remember his mother's death 11 years ago. Lilia finds him as he tells her about what is going to happened. They travel to the underground parking lot and her friend arrives named, "Bongchun Kim," a criminal hacker and arms dealer.[17] Jungwoo was hesitant of being a fake terrorist but eventually agrees as time was running out. They arrived in disguises in the building. At first the citizens don't believe them but a harmless accident from Jungwoo scared everyone off. Their plan work but the manager of the store stops all customers from leaving.[18] Very soon, Korea's Swat Team arrives to the store and everyone inside gets away safely. They then need to find a way to evade the police and decided to use Bongchun as a fake hostage. Deokman Jang was in charge of the Swat Team as he negotiates with them while Garam Han, a news reporter, is on the scene as well. The negotiations is going nowhere until the store is visibly collapsing; everyone in the vicinity runs for cover. Jungwoo noticed that Garam was about to run into her death, which he ran to save.[19] Afterwards, the trio gets away from the police in a successful but narrow escape.

The next day, the incident of the store becomes a huge controversy as everyone talks about it. Jungwoo was quite scared of his action but believes that what he did was for the best. He tries to forget what he did and returns back to his normal life. During in bus ride however, a car accident happens on the Yanghwa Bridge.[20] While observing, Jungwoo meets Minji Lee, a fellow classmate. Shortly after, he noticed that a mother and daughter were wounded and stuck in their car. Jungwoo attempts to save them by pulling their car back up; not wanting the little girl to experience the loss of a mother. Minji and civilians assists him to pull the car, saving them inside. Although he save them, his ability shows that the entire bridge is still in danger.[21] He calls Lilia on what to do and sends Bongchun to help again. Soon, Lilia arrives using a drone and guides him under the bridge and reveals that someone has strapped C4s on the bridge's structures. On the banks is Bongchun acting as surveillance elsewhere. With no choice, Jungwoo once again choose to be a fake terrorist to save everyone on the bridge.[22] Bong Chun takes control of the drone while Lilia arrives on scene. Both of them takes potshots around the people to drive them out of the bridge. Deokman and Garam hears the incident and quickly tries to reach the bridge.

Unfortunately, the real culprit who is also on the scene decides to blow up the bridge's structures. Most of the people got out safely but Minji and the injured mother and child are still thee; fortunately, Jungwoo manages to escorts all three of them to safety.[23] Jungwoo returns back to the collapse as he dodges dangers with his ability. He then avoids the police while trying to reach Bongchun's location. However, the real culprit surprise attacks Bongchun and takes him hostage. Jungwoo arrives to see the real culprit is Hyunseong Lee, one of the people on the bridge.[24] Believing him to be an actual terrorist, ask if he wanted to join him creating terrorist attacks for fun which he refuses. Disappointed, he attacks him but Lilia arrives. Back at the bridge, Deokman's noticed something off at the banks as Lilia overpowers Hyunseong.[25] Once knocked down, the group has to leave as the police soon noticed their presence, however Jungwoo takes note of Hyunseong's tattoo which he remembers seeing Hayeon Yeon have one similar at his mother's funeral. Realizing that his mother's accident was perhaps deliberate, he interrogates him with his gun but to no avail. Out of time, they escaped the police.[26]

A week later, Garam and Minji meets up with both believing that the terrorist was actually saving people. However, Deokman arrives and counter explains that the mother was murdered in the hospital. Back home, Jungwoo was recovering while discussing whether her mother was killed or not. Lilia urge him that it was only an accident and that they should return back to normal lives. On the TV, news reported that Sohyun Sung, the injured mother, was murdered. Elsewhere, Hyunseong murdered her out of pettiness while he talks with Hayeon Yeon. He was concerned with their interference but she was not and hanged up.[27] Back with Garam and Deokman, their questioning left Minji mad about them not really believing her. Afterwards, both of them left wondering if the terrorists were good or bad. Deokman, has a small flashback with Gukyoung Kang where he explains that the collapse of the store was due to faulty construction. Deokman wants to tell the truth but his friend says that it was best to hide the truth as their objective justifies the means. Hearing the news, Jungwoo was depressed that despite his actions, the child's mother was killed. He asked Lilia that without her, he couldn't do anything, he wants to rely on her a bit more. Determined, he will capture Hyunseong and his associates. In a press conference of next morning, Suho Jin was given the leader position due to the Special Terrorist Measurement Law. He reveals that all information on the incidents will be given to the public.[28] Lilia and Bongchun watches the conference. Suho reveals Bongchun's true identity and due to this, he is stuck in South Korea. At another place, Jungwoo got a call from Minji through Minhyeok's phone and let him know about the mother's funeral and the daughter asked how is he. This made Jungwoo be determined even more of his cause.

Anyang Construction Incident[]

Three weeks later, Lilia takes Jungwoo to Siheung-Si to train him. In a warehouse, he has to fight Lilia while five pitching drones are shooting at him. Back at the bridge, Hyunseong arrives to meet with Suho, revealing that in fact Suho is collaborating in the terrorist acts. Suho tells him Hyunseong of his next mission.[29] He refuses but Suho forced him to do so. At school, Jungwoo was bruised from the training; he comes up with a plan to use the drones to his advantage. This time, he was very close but somewhat failed due to Lilia's raw strength. During the training, Bongchun wonders if it is ready to give him the new gas mask.[30] Next day, Lilia and Bongchun converse, although Bongchun could flee from the country with his skill, he stays for "fun" and returning the favor. On the news, Hyunseong taunts Lilia to meet up with him which she does but requests Bongchun to keep it a secret from Jungwoo. Two hours later, Bongchun hears someone at the door and opens it only to be greeted by Garam Han. In a moment of panic, he ends up trying her up.[31] Jungwoo arrives to see Garam tied up and tells Bongchun to untie her. Jungwoo and Bongchun explain everything to Garam and to prove they are telling the truth, they take her to Anyang as the culprit is there waiting for Lilia.

Before they head out, Bongchun hands him the new gas mask. Suho and his sniper, Sejung Oh, set up an ambush to catch Lilia.[32] Along with those two, Deokman Jang and his team are assisting the ambush. In a short flashback, Hyunseong gave info to Suho so that he can set up the ambush. Lilia explores the building when she comes across Deokman's team and fights. At the same time, Jungwoo and Garam met with Hyunseong.[33] In the fight, Deokman joins and as they fought, they converse on what is truly going on but they noticed that Sejung is about to shoot. Back at the ground, Jungwoo is still terrified of Hyunseong, but he noticed blood dripping from of top.[34] The blood was from Deokman, protecting Lilia as he wanted to know the truth. Jungwoo then fights with Hyunseong while Garam ran off. He was no match so he retreats into the construction. Determined to change, he put on his gas mask and fights with Hyunseong, getting the first strike.[35]

Just before, Bongchun explains the gas mask's function which boosts his abilities. During the fight, Jungwoo can see his movements and dodges, getting the chance to electrocute him. Lilia was arrested and they coming down the stairs when they hear the fight. Jungwoo got the upper hand but Hyunseong wagers that he can't kill him without know what he wants. Before Jungwoo could do anything, he overdose from the chemicals.[36] The police points their gun at them, which gives Hyunseong to knock Jungwoo out but it was not enough. Determine to kill him, he electrocutes him to death but stopped when Lilia begs him not to. The police then open fires as he retreats, Deokman and his team argues on what to do while Suho instructs Sejung to detonate the bombs hidden in the construction.[37] Wounded from the overdose, he retreats as police are coming closer. He decides to take in the chemicals again despite his overdose as he want to overcome his incompetence. He easily dispatches the police and walks outside but Deokman incapacitate him. Arrested, Deokman explains that he sides with them as he has empathy and believes that it wasn't them. Suddenly, Sejung shoots him in the head, seemingly kills him.[38] Sejung takes out the other police as Hyunseong activates the bomb but was also seemingly killed from the flying debris. The duo escaped. Afterwards, a public funeral was held for Deokman and nine other policemen as the government are taking actions in stopping the "terrorist attacks." Garam was paying respects for Deokman as Jungwoo approaches with flowers. She was mad but Jungwoo lies to her that they were the real terrorist and will continue to make attacks; not wanting more others to die because of him.[39]

Hapjeong & Mangwon Attacks[]

Some time later, Jungwoo continues to be a terrorist, saving people from multiple incidents. In the rain, he and Minhyeok walk together after school when they met Hayun Kim, who happens to be carrying documents with the Uroboros tattoo similar to Hayeon and Hyunseong's tattoos.[40]After returning home, Jungwoo tells Lilia and Bongchun about and they do some research, finding information on the Jeungduk church. Then went out to do his terrorist work. In the middle of the road, he stops the traffic and inside a car is a boy inside named Yongtaek. The boy asked him to kill hiim because he doesn't want to be useless to his parents but was proven wrong when his mother still cared for him despite his cons. Soon, the water pipes below explode, the boy realizes that he was saved by Jungwoo with his life and relationship. Afterwards, he went to the church to find that Minhyeok was also there.[41] The next day, Jungwoo sees his struggles as he was being extorted for money by the church's goons. He tries to stop them but Minhyeok refuses his help. In the past, he has helped Jungwoo for the longest time and wants to return the favor. In a hospital, it was revealed that Suho had saved the wounded Hyunseong and in return, Hayeon gave him info. She then propose that they should work together.[42] During training, the team finds that the church gives the extorted money to the Y&Y; they then set their next target. They ambush Hayun and wants info and the money but Jungwoo noticed that in the city, there were danger was about to happen.[43]

Jungwoo sees three purple fogs with two near Hapjeong and one at Mongwon. Lilia and him splits up to stop the attacks. Hayun relayed to Hayeon about what happened. Ecstatic, she instructed Junwoo Han to prepare as he slaughtered a Hapjeong police station. Near by, Lilia arrives in Hapjeong while Jungwoo was in Mangwon. Once there, Suho and his men ambushed him while Bongchun was near.[44] Suho was about to trap Jungwoo but Bongchun comes to the rescue.[45] They've escaped as Jungwoo went to Hapjeong. Lilia comes face to face with Junwoo and fights. Somewhere, Minhyeok go back to the church for a refund but was knocked out from them.[46] His heart stops for a while, but he quickly wakes up and attempts to stop Hayun. As he chases Hayun, she texts the others in Y&Y for help. At one point, Minhyeok is able to pin down Hayun, but is kicked by one of her goons. Hayun orders her men to kick Minhyeok till he dies. Jungwoo shows up to save Minhyeok as he just happened to see the text Hayun sent out.[47]

At Hapjeong, Lilia kills Junwoo and spoke to Hayeon. Jungwoo and Minhyeok gives chase to Hayun Kim, however, Minhyeok ends up captured.[48] However, sometimes before, Suho betrays Hayeon and gives Jungwoo key info. With this, he heads to Hayeon and intercepts her at the roof. [49] He easily fought and won against her goons; during a stand-off, she explain a bit about Project Imagine. She then escapes by helicopter and Jungwoo attempts to grab on, but fails and falls, barely surviving by holding onto Bong Number 3. In Hayun's car, Minhyeok woke up and hears their conversation; enraged, he managed to make the car crash. Coincidentally, Jungwoo and him crashed near each other.[50] Lilia appears at the scene and takes Jungwoo for treatment explaining to Minhyeok that Jungwoo saved him because he was his friend, not to gain anything from him. After they left, Hayun was barely alive and beg him to save her. However, he left her to die with Hayeon was informed about her death. Annoyed, she orders a meeting with the tops media companies to cut off any ties with the Jeungduk Cult that Hayun Kim was in chrage of. The next day, Jungwoo was being treated at a hospital with many injuries.[51]

Ambushing Y&Y[]

Still at the hospital, Minji and Minhyeok arrive to comfort Jungwoo with the latter thanking him for helping his debt problem. He then promised that they will always be friends. At another place, Hayeon and Jaehan Shin sees that Hyunseong is recovering due to the Project Imagine. After Jungwoo was feeling better he asked Lilia about her past.[52] She complied and revealed her past at Bratva, his father and mother's research, Project Imagine, his ability, and his father's current whereabouts. They then head back home. There, they discussed about how to rob the smugglers that are supplying Y&Y as they disguised themselves once there. Someplace else, Suho was preparing for a meeting as he instructed Deokman on what to do, revealing that he survived. Afterwards, he heads to the conference in a car with a flashback of him betraying Hayeon. In the present, he explains that he wants to protect Korea by creating new laws and using his extreme methods. At the conference, it was empty with no one there. It was revealed that Hayeon predict his betrayal and ruin the conference. At the first floor of Y&Y she heads to get the smuggler's product but a huge truck smashes through the front door, causing a disturbance in the area. Jungwoo and Lilia chases Hayeon as she is protected by bodyguards. Meanwhile, Suho prepares his troops to ambush Y&Y. Once Jungwoo corners Hayeon, she takes a man hostage and with his hesitance, she orders her men to shoot the civilians outside of the building. Angered he uses his electric gloves & overheat to shock her to the point of fainting. Afterwards he sees the whole area was covered in purple fog but disappeared in a second. Immediately, they fled while kidnapping Hayeon.

In the aftermath, police were investigating what happen as Suho was present. The terrorist gave him a message to come to underneath a highroad at Seong, Bukdong 121gil. Just before he did, a mysterious man Seonghyeon Kang arrived at Y&Y's 2nd Research Facility at Kangwondo, Chuncheon. Soon, Suho and Sejong arrived as they are held hostage by the terrorists. After a small talk about Suho's perspective of "the ends justifies the means" and Jungwoo's rejection of it , they retreats as they gave them Hayeon to be arrested. in the research facility, Seonghyeon kills everyone there and enters a room where Hyeonseong is recovering. He destroys the pod and burns down the facility. The next day, the news talks about the attack from Y&Y. At school, Jungwoo was thinking about what Suho said about needing to sacrifice others for the greater good. In the midst, a bully was picking a fight with Jungwoo with the latter easily provoked.[53]

School Trip Landslide[]

Jungwoo easily beat the bully but the principal was around and he was sent to his office. At first he berated him but change his mind when he finds out that Jungwoo was the top of the class. Back at the classroom, his classmates congratulated his win and he made new friends. Some time later, Jungwoo with his friends and new ones hangs out in the streets and then a food mart. He then helped an employee dealing with a rude customer. Later at night, Seonghyeon was spying on LIlia and Bongchun. The next day Bongchun was mourning his destroyed inventions; Jungwoo mentions that his class was having a field trip. Meanwhile Bongchun and Lilia was worried about Jungwoo's mental health and risks. At home, Jungwoo noticed that danger was going to happen at Daegwallyeong, the place where his class is going. Worried, Jungwoo called Minhyeok to try to stall. However, Seonghyeon reveals himself and wants to converse with Jungwoo. Seonghyeon wanted Jungwoo to join him as they were victims of Project Imagine. Jungwoo refuses which he was disappointed, he leaves with him being his enemy. Time resumes and Jungwoo realized that 30 minutes has passed, the field trip already started without him. Lilia arrives on time and Jungwoo uses their car to catch up to the bus. They made it and stopped the bus. Lilia talks with the principal as she sabotages his car. The principal persists and he heads into the bus and resumes the trip. Shortly behind them was Lilia and Bongchun following, using a satellite to change the bus GPS routes. The principal stilled persists and ignores the GPS. They eventually got into the area of the purple fog and a rock landslide started, mid-hitting the buses. The driver attempts to evade with the help of Jungwoo, successfully avoid the danger. The buses behind stopped as the landslide was in their way. Everyone was in no danger as everyone was alright.

However, the principal stubbornly wants the trip to continue. Realizing that the principal was the one putting everyone in danger, Jungwoo was about to shock him until Lilia and Bongchun pretends to be terrorists and held the bus hostage. They forced everyone in the bus to leave into the other bus that was safe. In the midst, a sinkhole formed under the first bus; with Minhyeok, Jungwoo, and others fallen in the hole. Suddenly, Seonghyeon shows up behind Lilia and attempts to control her. Although persistent, Seonghyeon managed to control her. She seemingly killed Bongchun by stabbing him in the head. At the hole everyone was safe as they tried to find a way to leave. The controlled Lilia falls into the hole to kill Jungwoo's friends but he intervened. They leave by going down the sewer hole. Lilia easily overpowers Jungwoo but Bongchun revealed to still be alive, uses Bong Minis to make a smoke screen against Seonghyeon. With his opportunity, he sends Jungwoo his suit to fight against Lilia. Meanwhile, Garam heard of the Songyong tunnel being faulty from a representative and heads to the location.

In the hole, Jungwoo continues to fight, seemingly almost winning against Lilia. Garam arrives and interviewed the principal as he tried to save himself from public shame, only for the home teacher to punch him and asks the people around to help him find the missing students. Jungwoo was able to defeat Seonghyeon and Lilia was released from his control. Minhyeok and friends was able to get out safely and meet up with their class. Jungwoo then splits away from Lilia to confront Seonghyeon. Simultaneously, the police with Deokman, arrives. Jungwoo listens to his explanation of the Project Imagine until he took him hostage when the police pointing their guns at them. Deokman wasn't going to make that mistake, that happened back at Anyang that killed his men. Seonghyeon then enters his mind to find that Hyunseong was still alive. He leaves the area as the landslides continues, giving Jungwoo an opportunity to slip away and go back as himself. He was soon found by his class. The next day, the landslide incident had no deaths and was reported by the news along with Hyunseong's terror incident. Jungwoo went to a café to talk with his homeroom teacher as he was resigned from the school, wishing him to grow up to be a good person.[54]

Final Preparations[]

After they left, Minhyeok was being pessimistic about good people are thrown away while the bad stays, but Jungwoo optimistically believed that the bad can be good overtime. They then part ways. Soon, he met with Garam who wants to talk to him privately. At their house, Garam warns them that the police finds evidence that may arrest Jungwoo as a suspect of being the terrorist. She then leaves saying that she helped because she wants to find the truth. During the night, Lilia and Bongchun talks about Jungwoo of how he seems to grow up too fast. Simultaneously, Hyunseong breaks Hayeon out of prison. Later into the night, Lilia breaks into Suho's office to make a deal. The deal was that she will surrender herself to the police if they leave Jungwoo alone; sacrificing herself. The next day, the news of the breakout of Hayeon was reported and soon a report of Lilia's arrest was announced to the public which shocked Jungwoo along with other characters. He then confronted Bongchun which he replied that she sacrifice herself because she wanted him to live a normal life. Soon he announced that he is going to leave Korea. By himself, Jungwoo was unwavered and later give Bongchun a blueprint of equipment to make. Two days after Lilia's arrest, Bongchun makes it to South Africa, Capetown. There, he meets his long time friend, Cornelia Bobowasher, a former weapon maker and Kuku, a penguin. They catch up and he gave her the blueprint which she refused to make.

Back in Korea, Jungwoo's school was gossiping about him and his guardian as Minhyeok being worried of him. In the police station, Jungwoo was being interrogated by Suho to make a false confession against Lilia. After, Suho tells him about how he and his forces are going to arrest Hayeon and Hyunseong and his help is beneficial. With no choice, Jungwoo signs the false confession. Later on, Jungwoo sees that in the streets are protests of people wanting to execute the terrorists (Lilia) which it scarred him. Back home, Jungwoo was at his lowest point as Minhyeok announced that he is forced to move elsewhere, not seeing him again. Knowing that everyone around him is gone, he is frustrated that he couldn't save anyone. Suddenly, Deokman shows up with a recording that reveals that Hyunseong was the one who killed the mother. Jungwoo orders him to train him in CQC and shooting. After a little sparring, they take a break and rides in a car. On the radio was the protest's message which made Jungwoo uncomfortable but suddenly, someone rejected the protest's movement. It was revealed to be the boy whom Jungwoo saved from the water pipe incident. He announced that the terrorist was his savior in his personal relationship and coined his persona name, "Terror Man." Finally finding someone who believed in him, Jungwoo breaks down and cries.

Back in Africa, Bongchun begs Corneilia to help build the weapons but she reminded him that she doesn't want to make weapons that is made for mass destruction and death. However, if he tells him a story about Jungwoo and his goals then she may help their cause. Previously in Korea, Deokman teaches Jungwoo how to shoot properly as he announce he will quit school. Simultaneously, in Africa, Bongchun talk about his memory of the first time he met Cornelia, Soon she decided to help them and prepare to make the weapons and equipment that Jungwoo needs. Later on, Jungwoo hangs out with Minhyeok and says that he will quit school, soon they went into a barber shop so he can dye his hair white. In a café, Suho was gathering info from Layoo Jung, a member of Y&Y. She explains the origin of the tattoo, how to acquire, and Hayeon's background albeit brief. Suddenly, White members shoots up the cafe and leaves. In the aftermath, everyone was alive and heads by car. Layoo reveals how Hayeon was not always like her current status, that her rise to the position was a mistake. She then reveals Hyunseong's backstory of he was an orphan and Hayeon brainwashed him. Elsewhere, Hyunseong was killing people for an experiment that Euicheol Kang was in charged of as Hayeon enticed him with offers; wanting to perfect the Tardigrade reagent.

In a police station, Jungwoo visits LIilia and converse of how once time passes on, he will be the one who will take care of her; he then leaves. In a lab, Euicheol find the Tarigarde to be impossible to perfect due to the water bear's unique genetic code and use of nanomachines. He then runs to tell Hayeon about it. But she ignores it and tells him she running out of patience. Three months later, Jungwoo was practicing shooting, improving the mozambique drill technique. Soon, Suho arrives and relays that through a spy from Y&Y, they are going to ambush the Jin Myeong Tower, Jamsil tomorrow. Then, as Jungwoo was training, Bongchun arrives with new equipment for Jungwoo.[55]

Battle at Jinmyung Tower[]

When Bongchun opens the luggage to show the new equipment, it was revealed that inside was Kuku and he got the wrong luggage. They try to recover the correct luggage tomorrow morning. Next day, Suho tried to commence his plan by telling an official that a terrorist attack will happen at Jin Myeong Tower and that they should deploy their forces but the official declines. Implying that he knew of Suho's involvement in the Yanghwa Bridge incident. Furthermore, he warns that if something goes wrong during the tower with their military's forces, who would take responsibility. Back in his secret hideout, he announced that the plan is canceled as Hayeon has influence on the government. However, they still have Euicheol as their spy so they still have an opportunity later. Suho then revealed that they are using human subjects for the reagent and that around 300 people were kidnapped for it. Determined, Jungwoo takes over and plans their attack today despite Suho's refusal.


Next day at Jinmyung Tower at the east wing on the 128th floor, the meeting has commenced with the five top conglomerates: Taehan Won, Hojin Won, Chairman Jang, Junghee Son, and an unnamed chairman. However, Taehan did not appeared. Hayeon takes all four hostage while Jungwoo, Bongchun, and Sejung is about to ambush the tower.[56] They first take over the security room and later locate Hayeon. At the 128th floor Hayeon reveals that in order to speed up the reagent progress, they need more money; she then place collar bombs on their necks as incentive to cooperate. Soon, Jungwoo warns the entire building that a terrorist attack will happen in the tower. Surprised, her men tries to pinpoint their location to no avail; nearby, Hyunseong is on standby in a van.

The conference room was then blown up and shows Jungwoo standing on top of a bridge between the towers. Using the announcement as a divergence, he uses the magnetic shoes to launch himself into the room. Hayeon was escorted as she calls Hyunseong to help while her bodyguards buys time. Hyunseong hears her call and exits out the van. After defeating the guards, Hojin Won asked him for help which Jungwoo asked for his VIP card while telling Bongchun to help deactivate the collar bombs. Soon an AC-130 is coming to assist the group by deploying the other half of Jungwoo's equipment. In retaliation, Hayeon orders to bring all tardigrade samples and the living failures with Hyunseong their trump card. Jungwoo was using the elevator to catch up to Hayeon until Hyunseong throws a large truck at him; evading it. He then fights with Hyunseong, preparing against his unpredictable powers. Back at the security room, Bongchun and Sejung prepares to attack Hayeon's forces as they are closing in. Elsewhere, Hayeon's forces are releasing the living failures to aid in battle despite a scientist's protest.

During the fight against Hyunseong, Jungwoo deflects an object that pushes back Hyunseong. Soon, the truck from earlier fell on top of him. In the tower, Bongchun and Sejung attacks their enemies but a call was made by Seokyoung Min, a friend of Cornelia and father of Jungwoo, deploys the other half of the equipment from the AC-130. In the plane was Seokyoung's division: Seonghyeon, Tsurara Fuyuki, Giorgio, and Irinako. They were discussing about G waves and the difference between perfect and failed Imagine Models; they soon about to land. During the fight, Hyunseong gets the upper hand until Jungwoo receives the new equipment and equips it. Using the improved electric gloves, he punches and throws Hyunseong away. Afterwards, he sets his sights on capturing Hayeon using his new gas mask. In the prison, Lilia was watching the attack when Seonghyeon helps breaks her out and Seokyoung, in a while meets with her face-to-face. He asked her if she wants to break out to save him or to stay in the prison for a normal life.

Back at the fight, Jungwoo dodges the enemy helicopter and enter in the building; at the same time he meets Hayeon. Before he could do anything, the living failures springs out to attack him. He easily incapacities the failures and goes up one floor to ambush the helicopter. He then angles it to ram it into the tower. Meanwhile, Bongchun and Sejung faces against the resurrected Junwoo. Elsewhere, at Y&Y Research Facility, Seoul, Yongsan, Euicheol escapes to stop the attack of Jin Myung Tower. Just after the crash, Hayeon gives Hochul, his bodyguard, a reagent as a last resort. Then Jungwoo incapacitates them both as she tries to manipulate him one last time trying to cast doubts on his allies. A flash back on Jungwoo and Lilia's rocky relationship starts. The flashback ends with Jungwoo not believing in Hayeon's lies. The living failures revives and seems to attack Jungwoo until they acted irregular. Soon they starts to attack Hayeon with the latter begging Jungwoo to save her. Jungwoo doesn't; just before her neck snapped, she mentions being a part of White and being the savior. Hyunseong detects her death.

Deokman and Suho arrives as their armored truck rams into the failures, just before any other polices arrived first. Both of them then realizes that Hayeon has died. Suho asked Jungwoo where werethe conglomerates and tells him to save them. Hochul, the bodyguard wakes up to see Hayeon's corpse. In despair, he about to take the the reagent when he was killed by Hyunseong and drinks the reagent. Suho tells him where was Jungwoo's location and he chases him. Back with Bongchun and Sejung, they had trouble killing Junwoo as his creator, Minjoon Shin reveals himself. They were struggling to take down both of them; wounded until the elevator behinds their enemies open to reveal the penguin, Kuku, arrives. 30 minutes before, Bongchun asks Kuku to help him out. Kuku distracts Minjoon and Junwoo, giving Sejung enough time to kill Junwoo. As they were about to tie up Minjoon, Hyunseong throws a large teddy bear at the bridge, causing a tremor that everyone felt. Kuku gives Bongchun his Bong Minis and they head to save the conglomerates. At the bridge, the conglomerates were there when Junghee was about to fall to her death from the bear throw. She begs them to save her but they left her to die just when the rescue helicopter arrives.

Just as she falls, Jungwoo saves her; crashing to a building. He then tells her to run as Hyunseong catches up to him. Just as they about to fight, Lilia arrives outside of the tower. In addition, the SWAT force had arrived and are dealing with the failures; news reporters are asking questions as Deokman deals with them. In the mean time, Suho was reporting to his chief all what happened at the current moment. He advise a missile strike at the tower which the chief refuses. He then order him to save all conglomerates ASAP. Suho then tells Deokman about it; he then was about to execute his original plan when he was interrupted by a SWAT. He told Suho that Lilia enter the tower. Then Euicheol finally arrives to assist the situation. Jungwoo and Hyunseong continues fighting as the latter becoming more grotesque due to the reagent. He then electrocutes Hyunseong to the point that the nanomachines inside were being destroyed, hindering his powers. Suddenly, his head was chopped off by Lilia's ambush saving him. Outside, the failures were killed as well.

A short flashback when Deokman was recently recovering, was conversing with Suho. The latter was explaining the official article about terrorism and that they should work together if it was immoral. Flashback ends as Euicheol reveals that he has a reagent that will end the cells that keeps Hyunseong alive other wise he will keep living. Back with Jungwoo and Lilia, they went to the opposite tower; crossing the severed bridge. Simultaneously, Suho betrays everyone by ordering Sejung to kill Bongchun, and the conglomerates. Then Hyunseong's body starts to revive itself. Bongchun and Sejung meets with the conglomerates; Sejung was about to kill them when Lilia intervenes and subdues her. Bongchun then removes the collar bombs. The rescue helicopter arrives and picks up the conglomerates; Suho then orders to kill the terrorists. Suddenly, the helicopter was destroyed, killing everyone inside except Hojin as he escape the last second. Simultaneously, Jungwoo and others has to get to the roof while Sejung was released, been giving an offer by Bongchun to cooperate. Hojin falls and lands on to the bridge as he grips the ledge. It was revealed that Hyunseong revived and was the one who destroyed the helicopter. An army helicopter was shooting at him but was destroyed easily by him. From the far distance, a new helicopter was approaching with inside was Garam who was recording the attack. The news was reporting to everyone in Korea, seeing live footage. Jungwoo and Lilia makes it to the roof as they faced Hyunseong. Meanwhile, Hojin was rescued and Deokman takes the reagent from Euicheol and prepares to shoot it at Hyunseong.

As the two sides about to fight, the live camera points at Kuku for a short while; at this point, everyone was watching the fight live. Just then, Deokman ambushed Hyunseong from behind shooting the reagent at his arm. Although successful, he rips his arm off as it dissipates. However, it stops his regeneration; Lilia and Jungwoo was fighting him as the people was starting to believe they were the good guys. Just then, Deokman stops his men from friendly fire but one of them was his men who was thought to be killed during the Anyang incident; against his actions. Jungwoo and Lilia fight again but Hyunseong fatally hits Lilia, spearing her chest from his arm. Shocked by everyone, Deokman provides fire support against Hyunseong. Jungwoo was having a heartful conversation with Lilia as he removes his mask; Garam heads back to save his identity. Suho then advises Deokman that an airstrike is coming their way. Lilia seemingly dies from her wound after saying her goodbyes to Jungwoo. Deeply angered, he uses his overheat against Hyunseong, now a monster from his countless revival from the bullet fire. In the final battle, Jungwoo stabs his heart; Hyunseong exploded from the electricity, finally dead. After the battle, Irinako teleports Bongchun, Lilia, and Kuku. Seonghyeon talks with Jungwoo that his allies was saved but Lilia was dead. After parting ways, Jungwoo frustrated, shouts as the roof was bombarded by the missile strikes. On time, Jungwoo escaped. After the battle, nine casualties and 42 injured but no civilian causalities. The public responded with fright; frantically wanted to restructure their society and laws. A bit later, Jungwoo meets with his father to know about Lilia's condition.[57]

Aftermath[]

Jungwoo was frustrated with his father as his allies points their guns at him which he calms them down. They then went to a secluded place to reveal that Lilia is alive but is gravely injured. Elsewhere, Giorgio disguised as Gookyoung, intrudes inside the police station to kill Minjoon. Seokyoung reveals that he is still needed to destroy every trace of Project Imagine and that Lilia is under surgery. Before he departs, Jungwoo asked him why did they inject him with "Violet" which he replied what did Seungah save before her death. Jungwoo refuses to say. His father then leaves him saying that he earns an ordinary life.

Two years has passed and Korea's government passed the "National Crisis Preparation Act" in response to the attack of Jinmyeong tower. Jungwoo was living an ordinary life, when Sejung shows up. She asked his help to save Suho from the death penalty as the act reintroduced it. Suho illegally look into the relationship between Hayeon and her secretary. Furthermore, Deokman is also receiving the same punishment because his old subordinate revealed that he aided Jungwoo. She tried to persuade Jungwoo but to no avail; believing that no matter what he did, he didn't change the world for the better good. However, he dawns on being Terror Man again as he sees danger on Gwang Ahn Bridge. He takes an official hostage after the bridge exploding, demanding the release of all prisoners of Chun Song Prision and prepare 30 million dollars. He reveals personally being Terrorman through those years were the best of his life and hopes that later years the feeling will resurface again.

Elsewhere, a melting factory was melting Hyunseong's heart; still intact; for 14 days and plans to dispose it in the ocean. Every research document from Y&Y lab was destroyed by Seokyoung. Then Seokyoung and Euicheol meets to talk about Project Imagine. The latter revealed that he stole all of Y&Y's research but didn't disposed of it. He reveals the reagent but it was not completed but close to finish. He then asked him about what did Hayeon mean about being world's savior. He replied by showing the Giant Magellan Telescope which he took part in creating. There they found something there but it was not revealed. Soon Euicheol's wife and child appears. Euicheol heartfully grabs his child, Haneul Kang and plays with him. This reminded Seokyoung's wife words about not letting their son get involve with their sins. He then leaves, warning Euicheol to watch out for others who will steal the reagent and research that he saved. As he walks, he believes he should seek people like Euicheol to his cause; soon he sents Jungwoo a birthday present whom was Lilia. Elsewhere, Hwan Seok was walking with his friends when he sees Jungwoo's Gwang Ahn Bridge Attack on T.V. He leaves as he said it was a crazy world.[58]

Season 2[]

Lilia & Sasha Joining Bratva[]

Ten plus years ago before the events of Terrorman is when Lilia became the executioner of Bratva.[59] At the current time, someone approaches an older man about Lilia; asking him if he had raised her long ago and where is she. The man replied it is time to go see her. Back ten plus years ago in Oymyakon, Russia, is Lilia and her twin sister, Sasha, were teenagers at the time. They were in the cold winter when their step uncle, Lermontov, was unconscious in the cold. Lilia wanted to leave him to die due to his physical and sexual abuse on them but Sasha was worried that they will be wanted. They eventually drag him back to home but decided to leave to the Republic of Sakha. There, they were thinking of what to do for money until they see Ivan Somerhalder, a retired Bratva executioner, and Veronica Dudarova, a Bratva royal guard, exiting a bar. Lilia, seeing Veronica's ring decides to steal it but Veronica senses and attempts to kill her but Ivan saves Lilia by kissing his girlfriend. Sasha then reprimanded her. Soon a human trafficker tricks them by asking if they wanted a job.

At a hotel, Ivan was called by Petrov, a Bratva Pakhan, urging him to find a successor. He then remembered the children and went to the Black Rose bar to recruit them. The owner told him that Igor, a human trafficker, already kidnapped them. Ivan went to Igor's place to take them but Igor reminded him that he needed to pay. He had only enough to buy Sasha. She wakes up in a train as Ivan greets her. Not seeing Lilia, she asks him where is she but she was already sold. Lilia wakes up to see that she is in a slavery transport along many others. Inside, she meets Gargarin, a young boy, as he explained how he got in this mess. Back at the train, Sasha begs Ivan to save Lilia but said that it is too late and he picked her because she is not as rash as Lilia. The transport truck stops to take a break and then Lilia breaks out of it and escapes. Simultaneously, Sasha burns down the train so that she can be with Lilia and as a protest as Ivan realizes both of them were crazy. He decided to take them both. The police arrived to investigate the fire and Ivan apologizes for Sasha's actions. Then the police arrests them as Ivan is no longer part of Bratva who has been funding the police. In the car, Ivan explains to Sasha that he is looking for a successor and will show her what is like to be in the mafia as he escapes and takes over the car and drives off road. Being chased, he called Petrov to assist him. Back with Lilia, she was able to escape in the trees as Gargarin follows suit. They look around and sees a mauled deer. Suddenly the trafficker finds them but was ambush by a large bear and was occupied by it. Lilia tries to escape but Gargarin betrays her by stabbing in the leg and escapes. The traffickers were all killed as Lilia had to face the bear. She fights against the bear with a stick and eventually kills it by stabbing its gun wound. The other traffickers arrived to see her victory but she fainted. She then wakes in a hospital to see her sister and bonded while Ivan confirms to Petrov that they will be his successors.

After Lilia is released from the hospital, Ivan decides to raise and takes them to their new home. He shows them around as he explains that they will be working with Bratva, specifically as hitmen against traitors of Bratva. He then trains them, estimating it will take three years. However, it took only half a year which Ivan believed to be odd and a miracle. Soon, he gets a call and tells the two that they will be taking their first job in killing a smut studio for being on Bratva's turf. Then they infiltrate the studio but made some noise that Igor and Grigori hears. Igor tries to escape but Grigori hired, Gurov Cayman to deal with them. The trio finds Gurov and shoots him but he escapes. Around they see some smut equipment and the sisters watches the smut porn in curiosity. Lilia was disgusted as she vomits while Ivan explains the harsh reality that they live in. Suddenly, Gurov retaliates outside Ivan takes care of him as the sister prepares. Soon Sasha joins him while Lilia finds Igor. As she leaves, Ivan noticed that Sasha slightly enjoys the smut. Meanwhile, as Igor escapes, his driver was killed and crashed. Outside, Lilia orders his confession or dies. With Grigori, he was ambush by Sasha and she overkills him as she was angered that Lilia could had been a victim of his studio. Then Lilia joins as she killed Igor. Outside, Ivan ambush Gurov but reasons that he is a part of Stary Phaeton, the largest mafia organization in northern Caucasus. However he ignores it and he was executed by the sisters. Soon, the Corpse Cleanup Crew, arrived to clean up while Vasili, a corpse cleaner, has a friendly conversation with Ivan. After the battle, Ivan appointed Lilia as executioner of the Khabarobsk territory while Sasha will be her spare.

Six months later, Lilia takes on her first executioner mission as she enters a restaurant to kill Matvey Lykov, a traitor to Bratva. Soon his men appears and attempts to persuade her. Suddenly, Matvey was launched out of the restaurant with his missing arm as he begs Ivan for mercy while Lilia kills his men. Soon he was killed by Lilia. They went back home to have dinner that Sasha prepared. Later on, Lilia's presence spark rumors and notoriety in the city as many gangsters fights her and hears odd rumors about her. Back at home, Sasha opens the door to find Kira Ivanova, Ivan's former pupil. Suddenly, the flashback ends as Lilia's eyes open up and the present day resumes. Tsurara was monitoring her vitals when Bongchun and Kuku arrives to see her. They thought she woke up but she was still recovering. She asks why were they here when Jungwoo speaks from Bongchun's glasses and says that he is here to take care of Lilia despite her criminal reputation in Korea. Tsurara then warns them about White as she explains the danger. It then transitions back to the past when Ivan and Lilia opens to find Kira. Ivan introduce her as Petrov's bodyguard and executive. As they all seated, Kira reveal that a Stary Phaeton executive had snuck into their territory and is causing problems. Ivan redirected her question to Lilia as he is retired but Kira refuses. Gradually Kira and Lilia fights but then Ivan stop and reveals that it was a test for Lilia. Kira explain that soon there will be a conference for all executioners in Khabarbosk will be held shortly. Two days later, Lilia arrives.[60]

Project Imagine[]

As Lilia arrives to the building, back home, Ivan and Sasha go out shopping for a new window. Lilia enters into the main meeting area and meets with the other executioners: Gusev, Maxim, Bryzgalova, and Andrey. Soon Petrov and Kira arrives. He reveals a new drug called "IMK" that had been all over their area; revealed by the captured Stary Phaeton executioner. He plans to ally with Stary Phaeton to gain their route connecting Turkey and the Middle-East in order to capture Seokyoung Min to revitalize Project Imagine. Out in the streets were Ivan and Sash when they see a car chase of the Chinese Triads attempting capture of Seoungah Yoon, wife of Seokyoung and mother of Jungwoo.[61] Ivan then says they are going to follow them. In the meeting, Petrov mention Victor, a royal guard, who when throuh the process of Project Imagine, gaining Supernatural powers that he believes will strengthen Bratva. He then explains a genetic data that they've purchase but is in Turkey which is why they make a truce. The meeting ends and their objective will be in progress in the next three days.

Elsewhere at the Amur River, Khabarovsk, Suki Kang was present as Seoungah arrives to escape but the former was shot in the head by Sasha. However Suki is unscathed which shocked the duo. Soon the triads arrived but retreated from Suki's attacks. Ivan then took Seoungah hostage as Suki with Sasha. They arrived back home withLilia waiting for them. They started the negotiations but with no use but then Lilia mentions Project Imagine which Seoungah was shocked to hear. Elsewhere, the remaining Triads reported to Kira revealing her to be a traitor. At home, with Suki's strength, Ivan orders that they had to let them go, however Seoungah stayed to tell them about the project. Ten thousand years ago, a comet landed in Saudi Arabia creating a crater, Violet Francesca Lima, accidentally looks inside and was taken by Atrahasis. Ten years later, she arrives back at home with odd behaviors that the American government took her to discover her supernatural powers, which led to creation of Project Imagine. Violet then dies but someone (presumably Sheikh), wants to artificially create another one, leading to inhumane experiments and kidnapping of children. Suddenly, Bryzgalova and Maxim arrives. Suki and Seoungah hides. They arrive to explain a plan to gather the IMK from the orphans to make billions of money but the orphans were to be killed which Lilia refused. They then leave. Suki then asks why she save them but Lilia just don't want anymore trouble. Greatful, Suki gifts her meteorite axe, made ten thousand years ago with infinite durability. Before they leave Seoungah hugs the twins. Twelve year later, back to the present, Suki was visiting Seoungah's grave and meets Jungwoo again.[62]

Jaehan Shin's Capture[]

Jungwoo was visiting his mother's grave but doesn't remember Suki; meeting her the first time. They have a short conversation as Suki leaves giving him a picture of his parents with their teacher: Jaeshin Shin. Some time later, on the Bong Wing, was Jungwoo flying while speaking with Tsurara. She reveals that Lilia's surgery was a success and will wake up soon. She then explains who is Jaeshin, a researcher of the reagent. He escaped sometime before the battle of Junmyung tower thanks to the government. Jungwoo then heads to his location at a secret torture facility for criminals. He arrives and fell from the sky and crash into the building; hoping to to capture him alive. Ominously, he finds a massacre of the security with their blood around with the symbol of White visible.[63] He walks into a room to find a dying Jaeshin. He explains his eventual death was the hands of White as they deemed him useless. He tried to interrogate him as Jaeshin revealed the greatness of Hayeon's plan and that his mother's death was not cause by him or Hayeon. Before he can reveal the true culprit, a White experimental weapon, Telekinesis Cyborg, crashes in to interrupt the conversation. he then uses telekinesis to fight Jungwoo. He dodges the attacks and gets a call from Bongchun as the former explains it is a trap. Suddenly, the White soldiers was on the scene; shooting an RPG that the cyborg redirects. As Jungwoo counters, Lilia had awakened from her coma and talks to him as it has been a while. Bongchun sends in the Bong Wing as Jungwoo retreats. As he escapes, Jaeshin helps him by revealing Hayeon's successor, Kisoo Cheon, the chief secretary. He successfully escapes. Then the cyborg reveals he know who Lilia from ten years ago. A month later, Lilia arrives home to finally meet Jungwoo.[64]

Bratva Vs. Stary Phaeton[]

As Lilia finally arrives home, Bongchun and Kuku was also there to celebrate her recovery and plans a party. Just before, she remembers back as a child with Sasha they will always watch their favorite cartoon called "Red Swan." Twelve years back in Russia, Lilia was interrogating Umarov for the last IMK stash in her territory. He gives in and she leaves but changes her mind to kill him for the weird nicknames. He then expose it was Gargarin, the one who betrayed her. At Lenin Square, Khabarovsk, Gargarin was present as Lilia grabs him as she was angered by his betrayal but he believed that it was his only option as he was weak unlike her. She then leaves as she won't kill kids. Then he reveals that he know of Seokyoung's location, the man that Bratva was searching for.[65] He showed the location but Suki and Seoungah was there. Lilia decides against it and leaves and gives him money to keep him quiet. In the church, they romantically reunited shortly until Seokyoung explains that they need to stay for one more day to destroy Stary Phaeton's possession of the gene data of the Imagine Project. Elsewhere, Sasha and Ivan was walking when Shchuka, a traitor of Bratva, was walking by and talks with him. He explains that he is now a executioner of Stary. Remembering his betrayal which led to the death of his former fiancé, they started to fight but Sasha stops them. Schuka then leaves.


Back home, Ivan orders the twins outside and take arms as he plans to fight them as he will be returning as an executioner. They fought but Ivan overwhelm them but they still persists. He then surrenders. He explains his sudden attack was like a pop quiz to test their abilities if it was on par for Bratva. He explains that Schuka was very powerful and they needed to be prepared. The next day, the two mafia meets up as the higherups were meeting each other. As Lilia was standing around , Lermontov, her step father, suddenly shows up. Bryzgalova and Maxim were hanging out as they noticed a lot of manpower from Phaeton. Then Alexander Cayman, a Stary Phaeton Executioner, asks where was Lilia to avenge his son, Gurov. Schuka was also present to find someone named Christina. Back with Lilia, Lermontov was trying to aggravate her, insinuating her parents death was murder. Gusev was there to calm her; asking why she was angry. After the explanation, he find it weird that they were seemingly trying to start a fight. She seemingly calm down until Lermontov tried one more time using Sasha which Lilia leaps and kills him. Everybody witness her as Gusev find the situation weird' believing there is a mole in Bratva. Then Alexander confronts Lilia as someone turn off the lights. Stary Phaeton initiated their betrayal and ambush as their men killed some of Bratva's men as the lights turn on again. Alexander than publicly declares their attack. A huge fights between the mafias starts.

The second-in-command of Phaeton reveals that they will be taking Petrov hostage but if they can't then his bodyguard has explosive. Their suicide with Petrov will be fine for their organization. However Petrov is not fazed. During the fight, Bryzgalova and Maxim works together as she acquires a gun for him. Maxim then shoots a Phaeton chief. Soon they enters in to save Petrov but he told them to back off so they went back to fight. With Lilia, she had been chased by Alexander and his men. She arrives to an elevator and destroys it to fight them. They charge at her but many were killed. They brought in a powerful weapon but proved to be useless against the meteorite axe. The fight continues as the three executioners except, Gusev, was together. Unfortunately, Andrey was killed by Schuka as he confront the other two. Back with Lilia, she kills every Alexander's men and faces him. She tried to force if he brought Lermontov but he refuse as he slice her head but she stopped it using her teeth. It assume she killed him offscreen. Schuka eventually killed Bryzgalova and Maxim as Gusev was shocked. Suddenly, Lilia abrupt by and fights with Schuka; instructing Gusev to protect Petrov. During the fight, Schuka tried to manipulate her by saying that Ivan was the one who told him about Lermonotv but Lilia was unfazed and severed his right arm. The fight continues but Christina, his dog, tried to stop LIlia which aggravated Schuka but she lands the killing blow; killing him. In the conference, Petrov was not fazed by the enemy and secretly retaliated by an incoming bomb run. Lilia drags Schuka's body into the main area as both sides see this; she attempts to fight anyone but hears a lould rumble. Suki had crashed the conference that Petrov was in.

Just before Suki's crash, in the meeting Kira planned to take the gene map through either siding with Stary Phaeton or to kill Petrov but decides to wait for a bit. Petrov informed the second-in-command that a phone call will be coming soon. Soon a call from a member informed that Bratva had bombed their HQ and their head boss is killed. Soon more air raids occurred. Angered, they tried to kill him but Kira betrayed them. Just before she wants the gene map, it cuts back to when Suki crashes in along with Seokyoung. Just then, Lilia enters the room and meets with Suki again. Seeking the opportunity, Petrov order the capture of the researcher but he pulls an EMP that shuts down all power in the area which also destroyed the gene map. Having no choice, Kira activates her Violet Model and attempts to takes Seokyoung hostage. She first fights with Suki but the latter overpowers her and knocks her out. Petrov escapes and calls Victor Varsely, a royal guard, to assist him. Seokyoung and Suki then escapes on to the roof but sees something in the sky. Instinctually, Suki saves him as a laser beam shoots from the sky and destroy the building. It is reveal that a satellite that fired the beam, is Victor himself, an unsuccessful Neuromancer model. Suki survived the attack and tells him to escape but he refuses as he is tracked. No choice, Suki leaves him back to Korea.

Back at the battle, it had died down with Bratva's victory. Petrov was determining where is Seokyoung while the remaining members pay their respects for Lilia's contribution. Petrov then ordered his men to go find Seokyoung at Lenin Square. Lilia was rewarded 20 million rubles. Some time after, Lilia was with Ivan asking him about if Schuka was really strong but Ivan lied so that she wouldn't see him as easy. The next morning, Seokyoung managed to escape Bratva which Petrov was furious, telling his men that they have only half a day to find him. Suddenly Seokyoung appeared at Sasha at her home. At a bar, Ivan and Gusev were hanging out as the latter explains that Petrov left for American as he caused civilian casualties so the government demanded him to leave while they cover for him. While Kira is temporarily in charge. Gusev suspects that Kira is the traitor who leak info about Lilia. He then leaves. At a church Lilia arrives to meet Kira for her payment but she revealed that Gargarin had expose that she knew Seokyoung was here. Kira then ordered Lilia's death as her men was about to shoot. The flashback cuts back to the present.[66]

Capture of Secretary Kisoo Cheon[]

Back to the present, they were having a party for Lilia. Jungwoo asks her about being a twin and if she was the older or younger one. Elsewhere, Kisoo Cheon asks if the cyborg had a secret weapons whom responded they have "Red Swan."[67] Lilia responded she was the older. After the party ends, Lilia and Bongchun conversed with how she survived her fatal injuries. She then promise she will always protect Jungwoo. The next day, the duo drives in the streets but were having an argument and almost hit someone. That someone was Deokman Jang, who stopped the car. They had over to his beef restuarant which he owns now. He forced them to eat more meat as an apology for their mistake but his daughter reprimanded him. Back on business, Deokman gives them info on Kisoo of his schedule, activity, and his guards. Jungwoo plans to kidnap Kisoo along with the help of Tsurara and Seonghyeon Kang. They plan their attack the next day on 3pm at the Pello Art Center as Kisoo will arrive. There will be two squads that will attack and drive. Then Jungwoo asks Tsurara a favor. The next day, Jungwoo and Seonghyeon enters the center; easily subduing the security as they head to the next floor while the Telekinesis Cyborg waits. Suddenly, he ambushes them; fighting against Jungwoo. Seonghyeon sense that it was a trap and was advised to retreat. Simultaneously, Lilia and Bongchun was observing their situation. However the cyborg stops him by activating multiple speakers that emits a shrieking loud sound that incapacities everyone which Bongchun shuts off his laptop to stop the sound.

A bit later, Seonghyeon and Jungwoo was kidnapped to Seongnam Air force with Kisoo present. He orders his men to remove Jungwoo's mask only to reveal that it was Tsurara in disguised. A short flashback at the restaurant explains that Jungwoo asked Tsurara to disguised as him in case of a trap. Back at the present, Jungwoo falls from the sky and crash lands onto a car, revealing his second Terrorman suit. Kisoo ordered his men to kill Jungwoo but had failed. Soon the cyborg grabs Tsurara as a hostage but she used her imagine powers to destroy his arm. Sensing a disadvantage, he retreated leaving Kisoo behind. The group kidnapped Kisoo through his plane just before Jungwo sense it was a bad idea but had no choice. In the sky, they plan to read Kisoo's mind when Seonghyeon wakes up but then an ambush from White appeared above with a C-5 Galaxy. Standing on the wings was Red Swan. She jumps down and lands on the plane, waking up Seonghyeon. Tsurara attempts to get her off the plane but she maneuvers to the back and kills Kisoo with her blade. She then slice the plane's wings and jumps off. Tsurara grabs a parachute and quickly grabs Seonghyeon but persists in reading Kisoo's plans. Back with Bongchun, Lilia recognizes the name "Red Swan." Red Swan then uses her grapple hook and targets the falling plane. The two inside safely parachutes just before Red Swan destroys the plane. She then fights with Jungwoo but he uses his improved magnetic shoes to destroy the plane, ending the fight. Soon at night, Kisoo's death was reported by the news. The group discovered from Seonghyeon that the speakers were constructed to be used for mass murder as it had been implemented in every government building. Tsurara leaves and plans their meeting next week. Afterwards Jungwoo ask Lilia if she knew who is Red Swan.[68]

Lilia's Framing[]

Jungwoo believes that Lilia knew who Red Swan is and couldn't be a coincidence. As they walk, Lilia, tells him a story as the flashback of her time in Bratva resumes. Seokyoung Min arrives to Ivan's home to find Sasha. He attempted to run away but fainted from his injuries. Back in the church Lilia continues to defend herself before escaping and heading back home. Ivan then arrived back at home to see Sasha burying Seokyoung which he ordered to dig him back out. After seeing him, he realize that this man is what Bratva was after. Then someone rang the door bell. Lilia arrives finally but to find their home being burned.[69] Two hours earlier, Ivan and Sasha finds that Kira has fully betrayed them as the Russian police was behind her. Ivan realize that the situation needed a scape goat and he was the perfect candidate. Sasha asks where is Lilia which Kira lied that she killed her. Agitated, Sasha was about to kill when Ivan stops her. He explains that if she kills then the police will have justifications to arrest them. Ivan gives himself up in promise for not harming the twins, Then Kira heads into their home to capture Seokyoung. As they are being escorted Ivan realizes that his promise was not kept as Sasha is being escorted else where. Understanding her situation, she kills the police as the car flipped over. Back to the present, Lilia was able to find Sasha as the latter explain Kira' betrayal.


Lilia plans to save Ivan but Sasha stops her as she doesn't want her die; even force is necessary. LIlia attempts to persuade her but she doesn't budge. The two began to fight with Sasha winning. She exchange clothes to pretend to be Lilia and heads to Bratva. At a hotel, Gusev was angered at Kira's decision but she reminded him that she is now an executive. Gusev then warns her of Veronica who loves him will confront her. Just then, a truck filled with explosives rams and explode the front door. The two hears and felt the rumbling as Gusev realizes that Lilia (Sasha) is after her. Sasha looks at Kira from below and rushes to the first floor and killed every men there. Kira then grabs the radio to know what is going on only to hear Sasha singing a nursery rhyme. Then the elevator opens with Sasha inside. She leaps and rips out Kira's eye from her mouth as Gusev grabs her (believing her to be Lilia) to calm her down. Kira then throws a grenade and runs while Gusev was distracted and was stabbed in the neck by Sasha. As she runs, Gusev, wounded, didn't move but shielded the grenade with his body; killing him. Else where, Lilia woke up and heads to save Sasha. As Kira drives away to retreat, Sasha stabs the car and almost got her but fell. She walks when she hears Gagarin attempting to kill her and easily stops him. Nearby was Lilia attempting to find her. As she shouts, Sasha hears her just as Gargarin pulls the trigger. She was about to kill him but remember Lilia's rule to not kill children and let herself be killed to keep Lilia's beliefs.

Gargarin celebrated his "victory" and hears that Bratva place a bounty on her. Lilia instinctually tears up just when she hears Sasha had been killed. Before she attempts to find if it was true, the doctor from before saves her by chloroforming her. The next day, she wakes up in his hospital as he explain that it had been confirm that Sasha had died which Lilia cries ferociously as she attempts to exits the hospital but the doctor stops due to her injuries. Elsewhere, Kira was with the Chinese Triads as they believe that they had captured Seokyoung Min. However, Kira revealed she hadn't but substitute Sasha and Gargarin as material for American branch of Project Imagine. Back at the hospital, Lilia was trashing the hospital in despair as she was about to commit suicide but the doctor stops her; encouraging her to live on. At night, Lilia exits the hosptial and run into Umarov and other Stary Phaeton members. She negotiates in having them escape Russia in return for their IMK. Umarov denied but agreed if she kills one of Bratva's men to know she really left the organization. However, she began feeling uneasy in killing but ultimately killed the member from peer pressure from Umarov. At the hospital, the doctor called Ivan remarking that bringing in the twins into the mafia was a bad move but Ivan replied that it was inevitable that they would experience misfortune. Despite that, Ivan wondered what kind of normal life the twins would be living if; believing they would had been better off if it had.

Elsewhere with the Chinse triads, they talked about Kira staying in Bratva to find Seokyoung but believe that she was not trustworthy so they are searching him themselves. Somewhere else, Umarov and Lilia meets with Arsenyev to get out of the city by train. In the train, Umarov and the others complain about the conditions while Lilia was high on the IMK as she sees horrifying hallucinations of Sasha. Then the Chinese Triads and Bratva picked up a trail and began closing to their location when they interrogated Arsenyev. In the train, Umarov was about to kill Lilia just as the two mafias broke in and having a stalemate. Just then, Lilia wakes from her hallucinations and threaten everyone to leave. At the same time, in another compartment was a Bratva group finally founding Seokyoung Min. Back with Lilia, she defeated the two sides as she interrogated them, with the triad revealing that Kira was the one responsible for everything. Lilia leaves and heads the next compartment and defeated the other Bratva members and meets with Seokyoung. Elsewhere near the train, was Veronica, a royal guard and Leonid, her pupil, planning to stop the train. As Lilia was about to confront him, Veronica punch through the train causing an abrupt stop and procced to through her knife toward Lilia which she defected against. Knowing the danger, Seokyoung use his last of the meta material powder and persuaded Lilia to join him.

In the snow, Lilia was about to kill Seokyoung but hesitated while he revealed that he was in Russia to uncover Jungwoo's grave. Before he can say anymore, Veronica was near their trail but Swanet, a mercenary crew, called to rescue the two as a favor for Muse, Seokyoung's younger sister. They instructed them the rendezvous point. They headed over there while masking their foot prints with the powder but was no use as Veronica found them as she was on top of the cliff. She proceeds to cause an avalanche but was taunted by Lilia to fight her face on. She jumps down and stops the avalanche slightly as she fights Lilia; proving how powerless Lilia was against her. However Lilia was able to get through and cause the avalanche to fall again on top of Veronica. Seokyoung then carries Lilia just as Swanet arrives. Veronica survived and angered; causing to break the ice under them revealing it to be a lake. Swanet intercepted causing Veronica to fall into the lake just as Russian police approaching. As they leave, Lilia tells Veronica about how Ivan is in prison. Back in Korea, Muse got a phone call from Swanet of their success while she was taking care of Jungwoo. The Swanet crew ask where does Seokyoung want to go and mentions Boris, a priest from Project Imagine who can take care of them. In the Eastern Sayan Mountains, the two arrived and finds Jungwoo's grave as Seokyoung uncovers it to discover if Jungwoo was really his son as he resurrected just like Violet Lima.[70]

Priest Boris' Descent[]

As they uncover Jungwoo's grave, they found a hole in it, realizing the horror. Lilia was confused but then stares at the hole; instinctually Seokyoung shoves her to not be taken and checks her eyes and believes she was alright. Afterwards, they head back to a nearby city to stay while finding Boris, a friend of Seokyoung who helped him escape Project Imagine. Just then, Lilia began to have a fever from the IMK. He carries her finding a doctor while shady people were observing him. He finds a shady doctor who had an outrageous price but threatens him he will call the police. However Oleg, a subordinate to Mikhail, approached him and tells him to treat Lilia in return he will consider his month's pay done. Then they leave as Leonid was in the city.[71] At an estate, Seokyoung meets with Mikhail Suvorov, a former general and security commander for Project Imagine. He explain that after his escape, Bratva intervene and interrogated him, taking his gene sample of the Neuromancer and converted Victor as a weapon for Bratva and the Russian government. Then he ordered everyone who knew of the project to be killed while sparing Mikhail but destroyed his eyes and legs. The conversation continues mentioning Boris, revealing to him that Boris had become a monster and near him is a treasure that Mikhail needs.

Elsewhere, Kira finds Alexei Dudarova, a former royal guard, to give her the Holy Grail to gain more power. Initially refuse however he changed his mind for large sums of money and starts her training. Back at the estate, it was revealed that Boris accidentally stares into the hole and suddenly, Nikolai I, the head of Bratva, called to make Seokyoung to join Bratva but under one condition. Just then, Leonid arrived to capture Seokyoung, but the latter intervene as he gave the call to Lilia but Leonid answered instead. Elsewhere in Khabaraosk, Veronica breaks into the prison to flirt with Ivan while revealing that next month Bratva will hold an All-hands meeting as Nikolai has surprised announcement.

Leonid joins the group temporarily as he was ordered to help kill Boris under a week. Seokyoung, Oleg, and him heads to find Boris while Lilia was experiencing a withdrawal. Then, Lilia force Mikhail to give her more IMK but he complied under her completing a simple request. Afterwards, she experienced a hallucination of Sasha again. The trio found Boris as Lenoid starts to battle him but immediately finds him overwhelming as his wounds instantly regenerated. Five days later, Lilia was annoyed at Mikhail giving her mundane tasks for IMK while Leonid finds it impossible to kill Boris. Alone with Mikhail, Oleg mentions that his men find that Lilia seems to train outside using IMK. Simultaneously Leonid finds Lilia training herself; using Sasha's hallucinations. Leonid intervenes showing that the IMK training doesn't work and offers to train her so that together can defeat Boris. In the estate, Seokyoung realizes that Boris may be waiting to gain new abilities much like how it was for Violet in Project Imagine. A bit later after Lilia finishing her chores, the hallucinations began to haunt her again as she runs away from it to encounter Seokyoung at a lake. Then he gave her a call from his wife, Seungah, as they catch up and giving Lilia her full support. Encouraged, she trains with Leonid once more all the way to sunset.

At night, everyone at Mikhail's estate were having a party as they enjoy themselves. After three weeks of training, Lilia became on par with Leonid and let go of Sasha's hallucinations. Then everyone was brief on Boris' new abilities and to not wound him but impede his vision to weaken his abilities. Then everyone joins with Leonid and Lilia fights head on while everyone is on standby. As the duo fights Boris, he turn invisible which everyone fired upon to make him visible. The fight continues as the duo sees hallucinations but fought through and stopped Boris. However, Boris just acquired the Twins model and mind control Leonid, attacking Lilia. As Boris regenerated, he along Leonid teamed up against Lilia. They were about retreat but a determined Lilia managed to chop Boris head off; finally bringing him down. Returning to sanity, Boris uses telepathy to talk with Seokyoung one last time to protect Jungwoo and dies with Leonid free from the control. Afterwards, Lilia plans to go to the Bratva meeting to kill Kira with Seokyoung tagging along while Kira had passed the Holy Grail ritual and is read for the Holy Grail.[72]

Bratva's All-Hand Meeting[]

As Alexei think that Kira was ready, he gave her the Holy Grail to drink which is a Dudarova Clan's blood. As she drank it, she immediately felt excruciating pain as she drops to the floor but endures it to become Bratva's greatest. At a GRU facility in Moscow, Richard, a Bratva governing circle, meets with the director to discuss that Bratva won't make any problems as the conversation revealed that Nikolai I had died. Meanwhile, Ivan was released from prison and heads to the meeting. Elsewhere, Kira had survived the Holy Grail and bested Vladimir, a Bratva executive, in order to gain access to the meeting to restore her reputation but the governing circle had removed her status when it was revealed she was the traitor. Although Kira bluffs and lies, they were interrupted when Lilia strikes again in looting and fighting Bratva.[73] Just before, Lilia and Seokyoung parts way from Leonid; taking Boris' head to Bratva as an answer and warning Lilia to not come to the meeting due to Kira may ruin her plans. Then they had to find evidence against Kira to reveal the truth. Seokyoung ask if she would be his actual bodyguard once her revenge is done. Vladamir confronted Lilia with her revealing her identity, she then attempts to find Kira. In the car, Seokyoung was waiting for his sister's call and then when she called, she revealed that Seungah had been killed by White. Just behind his car was Kira approaching to stop him as her Violet view him dangerous. Suddenly, Lau Chan, an assassin for the Chinese Triads shows up to kill her for being a traitor. They fought as Seokyoung starts the car in depression due to his wife's death. He meets with Lilia to tell her that they are changing plans and heading to Bratva directly. Soon, Vladimir showed up to see Kira and Lau Chan dead. Kira lies and using Lau as a scapegoat for Lilia's actions. Addition with confirmation with the corpse clean up crew, Vladimir believes Lilia was lying and then takes Kira to Bratva.

The next day, every Bratva's notorious members arrived to their headquarters in Moscow to start the All-hand meeting. As the party starts to begin, Alexei and Leonid arrives. In the conference room, the governing members were to discuss with Kira and Ivan about Kira's deception. Due to lack of evidence and their contribution to Bratva, they decided to pardon and let them join the party. In the party, Ivan meets with Bryzaglova, reveald to be alived as she mentions that some of the governing members wanted Kira to be in their circle. Then the meeting had start with Nikolai II, Nikolai's son had revealed that the head boss had died and he will be the next in line which shocked the audience. Kira then schemes that the son will be a figurehead and the governing circle will have the power and if she given the position, she will have absolute power. Then, Lilia crashed the party to confront Kira. As everyone was bewildered, Kira was confused as Lilia was to be dead but believed that she was Sasha as she remembers they were twins. Bogdandov instructed Vladamir to kill her but Richard stops him due to Lilia's mentioning of Kira's betrayal. Then Ivan and Bryzgalova back ups Lilia's words while Kira is being back up by Alexei. As Kira confronts her, she doesn't feel any danger from her Violet but she was killed by Lilia with only two hits, shocking everyone. Then Alexei fights Lilia as he guaranteed Kira's words. However Seokyoung stops them as he gives evidence to Kira's betrayal. Alexei ignore him but Kai stops him. Then the meeting is adjourned as Kai instructed Seokyoung and Lilia inside. Inside, Seokyoung realize that Nikolai I had put his mind into his son.

As Seokyoung was going to negotiate, Nikolai I orders Veronica to chop his arm as he negotiates. Then his son's mind took over to hear the deal on his behalf. The deal starts as Seokyoung gives up his knowledge on Project Imagine in exchange for his own division funded by Bratva. Then he wants Lilia to be given the royal guard status so that it will help with his division. However Veronica refused. Nikolai I's mind took over and agrees that Lilia must show for it. He then shows them the location to fight and soon Lilia and Veronica fights. As they fought, Veronica proves to overcome her despite Lilia's speed but despite each powerful attack, Lilia gets back up. This shocked everyone. Elsewhere, a Bratva patrol finds the corpse clean up crew's truck in flames which they soon contact Vladimir. In a short flashback before Kira and Lilia's fight, Lilia had taken a pill that nullifies Imagine models she then still debates whether she will go with Seokyoung as his guard. Flashback ends as Lilia got her first strike at Veronica. During the battle Alexei asks Ivan about Lilia's family tree. He believed that Lilia is part of the Dudarova Clan. Suddenly, Kira was revived by the activation of the tardigrade model and fights Lilia, damaging her but Veronica killed Kira in one blow. They resume the fight as each pummel each other relentlessly. Veronica uses her secret martial arts as both of them lands a final blow with smoke covering the battle. Eventually, it revealed that Lilia had won as her blade is to her neck. In the audience, Alexei found her daughter's movement strange, believing that she may had sense Kira's head still alive, but dismissed it. Seokyoung was told of Lilia's victory as she was headed straight to the hospital to recover. Very soon, Raymond Fury, a hitman, had exploded the Bratva's headquarters as it fades to black.

A week later, Lilia awakens in a hospital as Seokyoung visited telling her that she probably stay for two months to heal. He then informed her that a hitman named Raymond had killed half of the governing circle including Richard but was captured and is presumably executed. Seokyoung then revealed that he didn't Lilia as a bodyguard as Bratva would be supplying him units and materials. He then says her to live her own life and leaves however Lilia felt that she was being saved and not other around; leaving her feel empty that she couldn't save people. Two months later Bogandov betrays the agreement between Nikolai II and Seokyoung and plans to put the blame of the assassination attempt on him and Lilia but she intervened. Without anyone left, Lilia felt lonely so she will plan to protected Seokyoung's son and go to Korea. She then caught up to Bogandov and revealed that he was siding with Kira being a governing member, revealing Nikolai I's cancer to the public in order for the governing circle to have absolute power. Lilia then gives a plan to Bogdanov that she will fake her death through that she died for being a traitor. She then gives the meteorite axe to him. Sometime later, Bratva believed her death as Seokyoung makes a fake grave for her. Then, Seokyoung, Lilia, and his escorts finally arrived to Korea as Seokyoung leaves everything to her to protect Jungwoo while he hides behind the scenes. Then Bongchun arrives as Lilia's guide; with them both meeting for the first time, concluding Lilia's story.[74]

Battle at the Blue House[]

Back to the present, Lilia concluded her story but Jungwoo and Bongchun had a hard time believing what she experienced. Next day, the trio, Tsurara, Seonghyeon meets up again at Deokman's restaurant. As they plan their attack, Jungwoo believes that his special eyes are slowly deteriorating since the Anyang incident. Elsewhere, the Telekinesis Cyborg and Red Swan prepared to launch their attack on the Blue House. Sometime later at the MIOS congressman Euiseok Jung confronts Sungmoo Kim about his handle of the terrorist attacks. At night, the group prepares to fight against White as Jungwoo revealed that he didn't mind losing his special ability believing it had more bad than good but will still press on in continuing his work without it. Then at Port Incheon, Tsurara gives Lilia a suit that gives her back strength partially. Soon, Seokyoung and Oleg meets with them and gives Lilia her meteorite axe that she gave to Bogandov. As they finalize their preparations, the White had start their attack on the Blue House as the Telekinesis Cyborg leads.


Just before the attack Euiseok was persistent in continuing his conversation with Sungmoo which the latter conceded. The group patrols and waits for danger but nothing was happening, finding it suspicious. Back in a conference room, Euiseok was outraged at Sungmoo's action to deploy National Defense Special Forces under Martial Law as it was overkill. However, Sungmoo hinted that it was what he wanted, confusing Euiseok. Then the White soldiers starts to massacre everyone in the Blue House. Sungmoo then explain that he was searching for a manuscript that was hidden in the Blue House which held the secret that the White needs. Soon, the cyborg had captured Hyunok Choi, Korea's president. Jungwoo realized that Sungmoo was a secret White member as Seonghyeon had probed information from Kisoo. Making a grave mistake, he heads to the Blue House. Then as Euiseok realize the real threat, he was almost killed but Jungwoo arrived and save him. Then Red Swan arrived as Jungwoo fights while Euiseok leaves. As they fight, he believe that Red Swan may be stalling him. He escapes to face the Telekinesis Cyborg by arriving below while Tsurara confronted directly. While the soldiers attempt to escape with Hyunok, Seonghyeon interferes and submit them using his ability. Hyunok was shocked of this attack and sees Seokyoung; fearful of being killed, she escapes. Suddenly, Red Swan decides to destroy the building, slicing it half but everyone was in no danger. Quickly, Jungwoo fights the cyborg, taking him outside while Lilia faces off against Red Swan. Seokyoung then instructed Tsurara to help Jungwoo while Seonghyeon stops anyone until Oleg finds Hyunok. While Lilia fights with Red Swan, Seonghyeon was worried as Red Swan is Sasha but Lilia was adamant that the past is the past and she will go forward with the present. Then Red Swan launched an attack that was identical to Veronica's martial arts.

Elsewhere in the building, Hyunok was founded by Euiseok, Bongchun's drones, along with the survivors. However, Hyunok angerly remark that terrorists are not on anyone side but themselves; planning to use others for their goals. Then they plan to go the roof of the building with Hyunok instructing Euiseok if she dies, her secretary should continue decrypting the Voynich Manuscript that contain information about alien tech (Octa) in the North Pole as Kangtawoo was shown encased in ice. Elsewhere near the attack, Garam Han, now a newtuber streamer, head towards it to live stream and record the events. Back to the fight, Jungwoo and Tsurara had difficulty killing the cyborg as he launches a counter attack but Jungwoo sees Garam and saves her only to be surprise to see her again. The cyborg then rushes in as a flashback occurs revealing that the cyborg is Gargarin. A small flashback of Gargarin shows how much envy he was against Lilia having strength and resilience unlike him. Fast-forward to when he was sold to Project Imagine and was being experimented on urge them that he will be their best experiment as the flashback ends. The fight continues as Jungwoo's ability malfunctions just like during the Anyang incident again. Then a small flashback is shown as Gargarin accquired his new body but his mind is shared with Kira, who's consciousness survived due the tardigrade. Back to the present, Kira takes over Gargarin and fights instead. Jungwoo sees Kira's distorted face and realize that his ability was to not sense danger but to show what needs to overcome otherwise he will face future repercussions. As he fought, his model began to malfunction as it bleeds leading to Kira stab Jungwoo and then went to face Lilia, showing his body.

Tsurara then was able to recover Jungwoo while Lilia defended against the cyborg and Red Swan. As the duo gains the upper hand, Yuri Mishustin, a Bratva executioner, arrived to help. Giving the opportunity, Seokyoung and the others need to escape while needing to capture Hyunok before the army arrives. Then Yuri revealed that Veronica had retired ten years ago and White and sent spies into Bratva to acquire her DNA, and creating Red Swan as a clone. Then a small flashback was shown when Lilia was fighting against Petrov, wanting her to return to Bratva. Within the corpses that Lilia had killed was Yuri who wanted to be taught by Lilia, revealing together they had come up a martial art for Lilia. She then used it to subdue Red Swan but the cyborg retaliates while instructing Swan to capture the president. Elsewhere in the building, Seokyoung and others were heading to the roof when Swan was about to land a strike as it fade to Jungwoo's sub-consciousness. Inside, he meets with Violet Francesca Lima. She shows him a red and blue moon and when it becomes one, Jungwoo will die. Back to Seokyoung, he reflected Swan's attacks but Seonghyeon use his ability to tell her that the president was at the roof which she leaves before mortally wounding him. On the roof, the survivors finally reached to it but the soldiers already were there and was about to fire. Then inside Jungwoo's mind, Violet tells him to give up and die but he refused just as her backstory was shown. When she fell, she hears a voice talking to her but rejected her as she was not what he was looking for. At some time, she recovers her memories and remember everything that happen in Project Imagine and that every victim wanted her to die. Feeling guilty, she stopped her abilities to let herself die. She revealed that these abilities were given and was meant for survival. Furthermore Jungwoo was qualified and achieve god-like ability but it would put everyone in danger. However, Jungwoo hugs to comfort her as he explains that he sympathize her; understanding her pain of being alone and needing other's love. Moved, Violet disappears, but before giving him temporarily access to the nine Project Imagine Models.

Back at the roof, the White soldiers were about to shoot but Swan had wounded Hyunok. Simultaneously, Jungwoo awaken and is shown gaining all nine models. He then healed Seonghyeon before leaving using teleportation. Kira then sees her Violet was still intact and activated, Remember it was the same like Veronica, she was ready to defend herself as Jungwoo arrived but was defeated easily, sending her upwards into the air. Then Jungwoo tells Lilia to help the survivors on the roof. Gargarin regains control slightly and was jealous again as despite his attempts in reaching new heights, he was still a failure unlike others. Soon, Jungwoo pierces his body as everyone on the roof watches. Using Blue Jet, he strike the cyborg down, completely immobilizing him. The White soldiers attempted to retreat but Jungwoo stops them. Then when Red Swan was about to fight, Lilia intervene while reminding Jungwoo his mission. As Hyunok was bleeding, Jungwoo approaches and grabs her; walking to the edge of the roof and letting her fall to her death. Garam and Euiseok was in shock; Garam still believe in him and pressed on while Euiseok attempt to kill him. Jungwoo grabbed and said that the government had done nothing to protect their civilians, society, and their future; finding the current status of the government incapable of protecting anyone. Oleg and his men arrived to assist but Red Swan used her light saber to cause more destruction. As the smoke clears, Jungwoo let Euiseok remember the feeling of being useless so that he can muster the strength to create a better world without needing Jungwoo or others to help. As Lilia and Red Swan continues to fight, Jungwoo makes a request to Oleg which prompt him and others to retreat. Euiseok asked Jungwoo what is his goal in which he needs the government to create a system that monitors attacks and disasters 24/7. Then, Gargarin, extremely wounded, attempt to retreat but Kira gain control and attempt a final kill on Lilia but Jungwoo stopped it and decides to kill them. As he turns them into a small sphere, Gargarin begged for mercy to Lilia but to no avail. Meanwhile, Red Swan was finally defeated.

Lilia then reconciles with Sasha for one last time before departing. Then Jngwoo ordered Euiseok to ready their plan. Seokyoung and the others escape with help with Giorgio and Jungwoo with Lilia escapes while Euiseok guns them down while Garam finally got to the roof as she records the events. They look over the edge to find Hyunok to be alive. The battle had concluded with 51 deaths and 20 wounded with the public being told that Hyunok and Euiseok had fend off the 26 terrorists themselves and capturing 13 of them.[75]

Aftermath[]

Sometime after, the news reported that Hyunok had recovered from her wounds and return to office. She described that the terrorist attack was a "vigilante justice" and is planning to restructure the government and create a new system. Elsewhere at Yeungah's grave, Jungwoo and Seokyoung were visiting. He then noticed that Jungwoo had lost one of his eyes' special ability. Continuing on, he ask his son why did he frame himself for the world to see which Jungwoo explain that he thinks that in order for the world to change, they need everyone ready to help, not just few people as it is not enough. Jungwoo leaves before briefly reconciling with his strain relationship with his father. Seokyoung then asked where was Lilia which Jungwoo says she return to Russia for something and as to hide from the public. Seokyoung was confused and realize that they were still continue on as being "terrorists."

In Moscow, Russia, Leonid, now a royal guard, meets with Yuri and was disappointed that he couldn't bring Lilia back so he can meet her again. However Yuri explain that she had arrived in Russia but wouldn't arrive in Moscow. Leonid then decided that he will go find her himself. In the woods, Lilia arrived to find Ivan's home only to find children. She then meets with Ivan, Veronica and her children and then asks for the holy grail. However, during the night, Lilia attends dinner with the family which Ivan shows that they are now a regular family. Afterwards, Lilia needed the Holy Grail but Veronica refused, first saying that as a distant relative of the Dudarova Clan, it is unpredictable what would happen if the Holy Grail is mixed with blood that has some Dudarova clan. She then promptly refuse but Ivan persuaded her to give Lilia the Holy Grail which Veronica reluctantly conceded. The next day, Veronica gives Lilia the Holy Grail and before she takes it, Leonid, Yuri, Jungwoo and Bongchun arrived to start a small party. Lilia then quickly enters Veronica's safe to take the Holy Grail.

Back in South Korea, Hyunok was talking with Euiseok and hates to agree that a new agency must be created that has quick authorization to military in order to subdue national disasters, resulting in the creation of the "Disaster Preparatory Committee." As Euiseok is appointed director of the D.P.C., Seokyoung arrives being appointed as advisor. Hyunok agrees in sharing the Voynich Manuscript to him if he is diligently serving the government for three years. Hyunok then asked why did he revealed himself despite always behind the scenes in which he responded that the world will soon be destroyed in which prompt him to act. Along with believing his son, Jungwoo will be a key figure. A month later, back to the beginning of the season, someone meets with Ivan, asking about Lilia's whereabouts. In Bratva HQ, Petrov was furious that Ivan's pupils had failed constantly in bringing Lilia back to Bratva which Nikolai II and Leonid calm him down. Back with Ivan, he asked if the stranger wants to meet up, with the stranger revealing to be Muse, Seokyoung's sister. Then at the beach, after defeating, Ivan's pupils, Lilia and the gang decides to go the mall to find a gift for Ivan's family.

A bit after in South Korea, Deokman and Suho was at the cemetery with Deokman now a captain of the D.P.C. Suho leaves and meeting with Seokyoung, revealing he is now part of his division. As they talk, Suho revealed that the American branch of Project Imagine is attempting to revive the project to gain even greater heights. Suho then asked what was the being in the pit of Saudi Arabia that was responsible for Project Imagine. Seokyoung replied that it was most likely alien life inside. Somewhere else Lilia and Suki meets up in a bar after fighting off-screen (Neolithic Girl's Epilogue). Suki then says that she doesn't want to go to Jeju Island while LIlia gives her a card. Revealing that Muse created a secret company affiliated with the D.P.C. named "The Queens," which prompted that the both of them are to work together if Suki is recruited.

Prior to a few months ago back in Ivan's home, everyone was sleeping for the night. As Jungwoo was sleeping, his eyes were open and a loud noise was created, alerting everyone. Lilia went downstairs and enters Jungwoo's room only to find a hole created in his room. Inside was a dark and creepy hallway as Jungwoo was bewildered. He then hears a voice to come closer as he is face to face with Atrahasis, the being who is responsible for gifting his powers and the catalyst for Project Imagine.

Korean readers find it excellent storytelling, high-quality drawing, and serious and heavy plot. And it is Superstring’s representative work. With great praise for season 1 and 2 in their own rights. This work's action great include not only the composition, but also the illustrator's unique sophisticated and heavy directing and drawing style. Even if it is not an action film, Ko Jin-ho's painting style is widely praised.The character development of the protag, progresses naturally and solidly, allowing the reader to become fully immersed in the characters.   • Forced Serialization End - season 2's end left a lot of potential story telling & lore expanding. Season 3 was suppose to happen right after as confirmed by the author & illustrator. However, the illustrator announced on Facebook that he would be resigning from YLab right after. It is assumed that there was some conflict with the illustrator and YLAB. In the final episode of season 2, Korean readers criticizes YLab.

There are some criticism but is somewhat divided:[77]

  • Criminial Protags - There is also some negative reaction to the fact that the main characters, Lilia and Bongchun Kim, have clear criminal pasts. This is because Lilia and Kim Bong-chun were directly or indirectly involved in the death of people in the past.
  • Lilia's Story Too Long - There is an opinion that Lilia's past story is longer than expected. In fact, even though it is a flashback, it is almost approaching a prequel. Compared to Season 1, there are fewer touching parts or social critical elements, and it is becoming more of a mafia battle. Season 2 is not bad in terms of fun, but some say it is lacking compared to the masterpiece that was Season 1.
  • Lilia's Strength - There are many opinions that there is a significant gap in Lillia's individual combat power between Part 1 and Part 2. She says that although she was at superhuman level in Part 1, she felt like she was not at human level in Part 2.

Trivia[]

  • Having the total of 209 episodes, making it the 2nd longest work within the Superstring Universe.
  • There were official Terror Man merch such as T-shirts and phone cases in the making. However, production ceases due to low fan participation and lack of publicity from Ylab. It was the first time that the Superstring works attempted to make merchandise.
    • Funny enough, now there is Terror Man merch but only a single product.
  • In season 2, ep. 105 & 108, there are BGM encluded. However, it is not known which is it called as we cannot verify but it is likely the OSTs, "Destroyed" & "Red Swan." From above.
  • Terror Man was serialized simultaneously when Ylab released the concept of Superstring; making it technically the first superstring work.[78]
  • With 209 episodes, this webtoon is the second longest with Blade of the Phantom Master being first.
  • There is an error in timing in S2 Ep.24, as Lilia's flashback is 12 years ago. This contradicts season 1 such as Jungwoo's age, Seungha's death, the time skip, and the event of Jungwoo meeting Lilia. It is unclear if the author had corrected this in later webtoons but this is certain to be a mishap by the author (thus won't be considered in the timeline).
  • In season 2, ep. 101, Jungwoo tells Lilia to stop Red Swan however in the next episode, he told her to not fight Red Swan as she was too hurt. This may be a small error.
  • In a Korean webtoon, "Villain with a Crush," on Ep. 3, there was a reference to Jungwoo Min as someone suggested Rosa Park to be named "Terror Man" due to their similar appearances.
  • Some of unofficial English readers complained about Season 2 being a long flashback as they wanted Jungwoo Min to be in the starlight.
